It’s Time For Oktoberfest
Join us at our Downtown Anchorage Pub’s Beer Garden for our Oktoberfest this Saturday. We’re serving German food, pouring special beer releases and beer by the stein, and featuring live German music from the legendary band Alaska Blaskapelle. The best part? No entry fee!
Our buds Last Frontier Trail Llamas will be in the house for llama petting and photo opportunities. We’re serving an extensive menu of German food favorites that you can see here. Wild Scoops will be serving ice cream including a couple special Oktoberfest releases from their Cone-tainer. We will also have a number of epic competitions for glory and prizes including our Stein Holding Contest, Weiner Toss Competition, and Costume Contest.
We’re releasing a handful of special beers for the occasion as well, including the return of our award-winning Oktoberfest Lager and a special Oaked Oktoberfest Lager brimming with additional oaky complexity. We’ll also be tapping a fresh batch of Banana Hefeweizen, the fan favorite from Augtoberfest, a fruity and zesty Tangerine Hefeweizen, and a standard Bavarian Hefeweizen. You can even get beers by the 1 liter stein that you can take home.
